Luckily for her, a stranger who was
passing by had pity on her helped had

help. The mam , Mr Dadlzie , took her to her
family house and sought permission from
her relatives to take care of Abena. Because
nobody cared about her , the fam ily reanbily

One day , as Abena was returning from the riverside after fetching water   she fell
down, broke her pot and sustained some injuries.  She could not even stand on her
feet. She felt so sorry for herself and began
to weep

As disabled person, it was not easy for her to run errands for people for

With the rejection by her mother.s family. Abena nad nobody else to depend
on for food.Most of the time she fed no leftover food from other people.s homes
and alms people gave her . She was help

Abena,s mother put plan into action and left her daughter to her fate. Abena, therefore, grew up without any parental care. Her mother,s family also rejected her because of her disability .They always said she was hopeless and had nothing to offer them even if they beeped her
