Abena,s mother put plan into action and left her daughter to her fate. Abena, therefore, grew up without any parental care. Her mother,s family also rejected her because of her disability .They always said she was hopeless and had nothing to offer them even if they beeped her

Her mother was also worried because those in her community gos siped about her for having given birth to a physically-challenged child .She thought over her problem both day and night and finally decided to abandon .Abena and leave the village entirely for another place where nobody could locate her

Ong long ago there lived a girl called Abena who was horn physically challenged .She was deformed in one leg and limped badly. That worried her mother a lot kuowing well how physically challenged children were treated and not given the opportunited to explore their talents fully
