Abena took that moment to thank Mr Dadzie for all that he had done for her and promised not to disappoint him after receiving treatment abroad. Luckily, her disability improved and it became less obvious.She continued her education to the university where she developed her writing skills and began to write chil den,s books  .She earned a lot from her  books and soon made a name for herself.

Mr Dadzie sent her to a good sec
nondary school .It was while she was
there that she met a lady who became
very fond of her.Like Mr Dadzie the first
time the woman set eyes on Abena she
became interested in her, and after get
ting to know that she was academically
good and was of good behavior, she
offered to take her abroad for treatment.
Abenn, therefore, introduced her new
friend to Mr Dadzie who readily agreed
to the lady,s requcest.

He. however, did not lose hope. While in
school . Abena put in her best and passed
the BECE with distinction.

Luckily for her, a stranger who was
passing by had pity on her helped had
when the stranger found out that she had
nobody to take care of her , he decided to
help. The mam , Mr Dadlzie , took her to her
family house and sought permission from
her relatives to take care of Abena. Because
nobody cared about her , the fam ily reanbily
accepted Mr Dadzie ,s proposal

One day , as Abena was returning from the riverside after fetching water   she fell
down, broke her pot and sustained some injuries.  She could not even stand on her
feet. She felt so sorry for herself and began
to weep

doing such difficult tasks. She put no tattered clothes because there was nobody to buy new ones ones for her. Through all her difficulties , Abena believed that her  situ ation wold improve some day .She did not allow her disability to kill her God given talents.
